Thinking about homeschooling?

If you are thinking about homeschooling, this one is for you!

Just know that you don't have to mimic the public school day...

You can do school in the mornings, evenings and even on the weekends.

You can do bookwork 3 times a week or every day.

You don't need a bunch of fancy posters or manipulatives.

You don't need a homeschool room or even a desk. School can be done sitting, standing, riding in the car, while you're cooking dinner, or our favorite: on the trampoline, soaking up the sun.

School can be done with or without the textbooks.

You can do school for an hour a day or 5 hours; 2 days a week or all 7; 6 months out of the year or 12.

The biggest beauty of homeschooling is the FREEDOM to make it yours. There is no wrong way to do it.

Homeschooling isn't something you do when you have all the answers. It's a continual process of learning, unlearning, and relearning. It is an opportunity to invest in your children's passions, interests, and relationships. The beautiful part of homeschooling is that we get to keep reimagining the journey for our family.
